Asia Pacific Instituted of Information Technology (APIIT)

APIIT was established in 1993 with the objective of providing a responsible and industry-sensitive platform for young individuals to develop IT and Business skills and qualifications.

Initiated by the Malaysian Government with the objective of addressing the critical shortage of IT professionals at all levels in Malaysia and the region, APIIT has grown from being a successful private higher education institution in Malaysia to establishing itself as a major regional player.

For more than a decade, APIIT has achieved tremendous success graduating more than 11,000 students to-date. APIIT’s sound approach to nurturing school leavers into qualified professionals has resulted in its graduates being highly sought after by employers all over the world. In addition, APIIT is committed to Research & Development and has in the last decade innovated a range of international award winning technology solutions.

Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU)

UCTI was established in 2005 when APIIT’s Technology Park campus was upgraded to a University College by the Ministry of Education, Malaysia.  UCTI offers a range of programmes in areas such as Media, Computer Games Development, Business, Information Technology, Engineering.

Operating alongside APIIT, UCTI leverages on APIIT's strong track record and reputation and continues to maintain an internationally recognized standard for high quality education and study programmes, as well as research and development excellence.

UCTI nurtures and encourages innovation through its programmes as well as adopts a real-world approach to produce individuals who will learn, adapt and think differently in new and better ways.

APIIT Regional Centres

APIIT Regional Centres operate across a network spanning Karachi, Pakistan; Panipat, India and Colombo, Sri Lanka. These centres are fully supported and quality assured by APIIT Malaysia and provide students with great flexibility in study options as well as achieving internationally recognized qualifications.

Asia Pacific Schools

APIIT’s Smart School offers education at primary and secondary levels based on the Malaysian National Curriculum. It aims to provide students with a sound platform for learning and developing in a wide range of academic and non-academic skills and talents.

Leveraging on APIIT’s technology and operational expertise, the Smart School nurtures children to embrace technology at an early age to trigger innovation and inventiveness in them. Technology solutions also enhance classroom delivery.

Best practices in teaching and learning from around the world are adopted through partnerships with the University of Wolverhampton, the Midlands Leadership Centre, the Specialist Schools Trust and iNET (International Network for Education Transformation).
