The Creador Scholarship supports talented Malaysian students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds to pursue Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree studies at Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU).
It recognises academic potential and provides financial assistance to improve access to higher education and future career opportunities.
Scholarship Coverage
Applicable for:
- 2+ year Diploma programmes
- 3-4 year Bachelor’s degree
STR Recipient Category
Eligible students under this category may receive:
- 75% to 100% coverage of remaining tuition fees (after PTPTN deduction)
Income-Based Category
For applicants with:
- Single parent/guardian monthly income below RM6,000, or
- Total household monthly income below RM8,000
Eligible students under this category may receive:
- 50% to 75% coverage of remaining tuition fees (after PTPTN deduction)
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a Malaysian citizen aged below 20 years at time of application
- Be a graduate from SPM 2025 / STPM 2025 / UEC 2025 or equivalent
- Apply for a 2 year Diploma, or a 3-4 Undergraduate programme at APU
- Demonstrate financial need under STR/B40 or M40 classification and provide all supporting documentation required by APU for verification purposes.
- Exhibit strong academic performance, leadership qualities, and good character
- Maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.00 throughout the duration of study
- Have no disciplinary records or history of academic probation
- Be eligible for and apply for PTPTN financing
- Agree to comply with scholarship monitoring and engagement requirements
Note: The scholarship is highly competitive and offered on a limited basis. Selection is based on eligibility, assessment criteria, and available scholarship quotas. Meeting the eligibility requirements does not guarantee selection. All decisions made by the selection committee are final.

Application Deadline & Selection Process
- Application Submission: 25 May – 15 June 2026
- Screening & Shortlisting: 1 June – 16 June 2026
- Interview Process: 15 June – 24 June 2026
- Final Decision: 26 June 2026
Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend one or more interview sessions conducted by APU and Creador representatives.
