At APU, our Game Development programmes are strengthened by an extensive network of close collaborative partnerships with leading local and international game development studios and industry stakeholders. These partnerships go beyond student learning, with industry experts contributing directly to curriculum development, academic advisory, guest lectures, industry engagement and career exposure opportunities.

Our collaborations also support the continued networking of our academic staff, most of whom were formerly from the game development industry. This is to strengthen the connection between academia and industry to ensure our teaching remains relevant to evolving industry practices and technologies.

Beyond education, APU actively contributes to the growth of Malaysia's game development ecosystem through industry awareness initiatives, professional networking, collaborative research and government policy development. With one of the most extensive industry collaboration networks among Malaysian universities offering Game Development programmes, APU is committed not only to preparing future game development professionals but also to playing an active role in shaping and advancing the industry itself.
